Congratulations Christa, Beth and Hannah L. on your placements with your beautiful art! I want to let all the artists know that every single piece brought a smile (or tears) to my heart as it transported me back to Goldstone Wood; and it will for years to come as I re-read these amazing stories by Anne Elisabeth Stengl and wander the halls of this library to gaze upon your works. Thank you everybody!

Congratulations, winners! You are all so very talented and deserving and I'm so happy for you! :D

To the rest of the artists, I want you to know that I enjoyed all of your art too! It is truly an honor to be a fan of Goldstone Wood alongside so many talented and creative people. I hope you all had fun creating your art (I know I did!) and that you keep creating it and growing in your God-given talent.

Thanks to all of you for sharing with us, thanks to Hannah, Beka, and Bryn for taking the time to put the contest together this year, and thanks to Anne Elisabeth for writing stories that capture so many people's imaginations. <3

Christa, when I saw your picture I smiled and thought 'but of course'! Everything about this drawing is so well done. It's a perfect portrayal of one of Goldstone Wood's best loved characters!

Hannah, seeing your picture among the winners is so satisfying! When I first saw your picture I was taken by the delightful style, and it immediately became a favourite.

Beth, it's hard to imagine all the time and effort that must have gone into this picture, but it certainly paid off! What an honour to have won a place both as a fan favourite and as the author's favourite!

And to everyone else who sent in their art: Thank you for making this year's contest a wonderful experience! I wish I could give each one a prize!
